our beliefs

Living our lives in worship and relationship

These are essential and core beliefs that we hold as foundational truth. While we recognize that there are various interpretations on Biblical ideas, these beliefs are firm and unwavering.

  • There is one God, eternally existing and revealing Himself to us in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinguishable, but indivisible. (John 14:23-26)

  • Jesus is to be both Lord and Savior. (Philippians 3:20)
  • Jesus is the Head of the church. He divinely builds and plants people where He desires. (1 Corinthians 12:18)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, that He is true God and true man, His sinless life, and His atoning death on the cross which He obtained for us and eternal redemption. (Colossians 2:9-15)
  • Our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected from the death.  He appeared to many after his death, ascended into heaven.  Now he is our high priest and advocate.  He will come again and rule for a millennium. (Acts 1:1-3)

Holy Spirit

  • The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of sin and lead and guide us to all truth (John 16:8)

  • The baptism in the Holy Spirit after salvation is an endowment of power and supernatural gifts for the equipping of His Church. (Acts 2:4)

  • The whole Bible is absolute truth. It is the only objective, sufficient basis for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • Jesus is the only way to salvation. By no other name are men saved. We all must acknowledge and repent of our sin and have faith in the perfect and complete work of Christ on the cross. (Acts 4:12) (John 14:6)

  • Relationships are the biblical method of building the church to extend the Kingdom of God. God’s way is relational and ours should be too. (Acts 2:42-47
